Face Off: Survivor's Jerri vs. Corey Feldman!

Uh oh! Survivor vixen Jerri Manthey is returning to reality TV — and she's about to get freaky on y'all. The Playboy poser just spent 10 days taping The Surreal Life (debuting Jan. 9 on the WB), which couldn't be more aptly titled. "It's me and six other celebrities thrown into a house to live together," she tells TV Guide Online. Then, she lists her cast of has-been housemates: "It's Emmanuel Lewis, MC Hammer, Corey Feldman, Gabrielle Carteris from 90210, Brandy Roderick and Vince Neil!

"Picture Emmanuel Lewis and MC Hammer sharing bunk beds," Jerri adds, laughing wickedly. "MC Hammer was on top!"

This scary signpost marks WB's newest programming path: All-reality Thursday nights, which also will include The Jamie Kennedy Experiment and its upcoming High School Reunion. Natch, Surreal's washed-up stars must share sleeping quarters, even though they're squatting in Glenn Campbell's old mansion, worth $7.5 million. And yes, there will be catfighting. "Oh yeah," Jerri beams. "There was drama. I think everyone had their chance to get into an argument with Corey. But I saw that coming before I even got on the show.

"He's an interesting dude, with the child actor thing," she continues. "His whole life, he's been in front of the camera. He kept going, 'This is going to be great for my character on the show.' I had to say to him, 'Dude, it's reality TV. There are no characters!'"

Other highlights? "I bartended and got everyone trashed one night," Jerri reveals. "There was more decadence involved than Survivor." Oh, and their fat paychecks — Jerri won't tattle how much — were a plus, too. "Oh yeah!" the 32-year-old grins. "I wouldn't go into another reality show without some sort of prize guaranteed at the end. I learned my first time around!"

Gilmore Girls Catfight!

Looks like female fencing is en vogue since Madonna foiled herself in the masochistic music video for "Die Another Day." TV Guide Online has learned that the WB's Gilmore Girls plans a similar showdown on its Jan. 21 episode. The sitch: Prep-school girls Rory and Paris — as played by Alexis Bledel and Liza Weil — draw swords over a political intrigue in their student government. Reow!

"They take fencing for gym class," Weil previews, "and Paris uses it as a way to get Rory because she's upset at something she's done. It's scary and violent! At first, I thought, 'This is too much!'"

Thanks to the magic of television, these Stars Hollow lovelies — who are better known for their verbal thrust-and-parry than Alias -style combat — will be kickin' some tush. "We had to study fencing for awhile," Weil says. "It was really cool. We also had these amazing doubles come in — I had Buffy's double, and I was star struck! She's amazing. They made us look really good."

Given Gilmore's tongue-in-cheek take on things, the catfight will likely be good for some laughs. "If anybody was behaving this way in a real school, you'd be expelled," Paris's portrayer smiles. "It is weird to be doing a sport in P.E. whose original objective was to kill people."

When she's not skewering Rory literally, the insecure Paris rivals her pretty schoolmate in study hall. "My character is much more academic and booksmart than I am," Weil admits. "I had a horrible time in high school, and just really didn't want to be there." Hmm... Do people expect the actress to be as clever as Paris in real life? "I don't know," she says. "I mean, nobody's ever challenged me to quote from The Iliad or anything..."

Tim Curry's Rocky Road to Fame

Ever since 1975's The Rocky Horror Picture Show — where he camped it up as "sweet transvestite" Dr. Frank-n-Furter — Tim Curry has been a comedic big-screen staple. Look at all the fun stuff he's done in Home Alone 2, Charlie's Angels, Scary Movie 2 and The Wild Thornberrys (opening Dec. 20). Sadly, though, TV success has proved more elusive.

The 56-year-old Brit had a recurring role on Showtime's defunct Rude Awakening and now headlines the WB's struggling Family Affair remake. But his optimistic 'tude hasn't been dampened. "When I'm done, I'm done," Curry tells TV Guide Online. "I move on and I'm looking for passages new. I don't really dwell on stuff much. I just always feel absurdly lucky to be doing it at all."

Despite Family Affair's low ratings, Curry says he's "having a ball." As he recalls: "I turned [the role] down three times. Eric Idle and I used to have this greeting whenever we saw each other, which was, 'Butlers and villains!' Which is all they let you play in Hollywood if you're English. So I wasn't desperately keen to play another butler because I'd already done Clue."

"I didn't get it," he continues, "until [producer] Gavin Palone said, 'It's a fairy tale, you idiot.' Once I got that, I sort of got its possibilities, and it's been great fun."
